That's pretty awesome that Iowa has tons of morels. Hmm yeah the weather here hasn't been super hot. When we got rain it's been a bit more mild/chilly - for this time of year compared with the past few years.

I mean I paid 50 bucks but I made a really good tuna casserole with homemade stock and local half and half and peas and the mushrooms and pouch tuna and garlic and onions and it was really good

oh with buttered breadcrumbs on top - and i added local parmesan-style cheese to the mornay sauce

still - iowa is flat - i luvs my mountains
