after taking a break trying to crack light roasts in the joepresso i've about nailed it today. all i had to do was lower the dose :D

-light, washed ethiopian
-8g
-40ml water at 100c
-30g out

i plan on testing 9g tomorrow and possibly lowering the water by 5ml increments and/or increasing preinfusion time. the top of the puck looked like the surface of the moon but it was by far the best extraction i've had with light roasts.
