Sorry then dude, serious answer is this >>18352936, outdoor cooking during summer is an enjoyable communal ritual. Personally I prefer charcoal grill for the flavor and because it feels more primitive (standing around a fire evokes human genetic memory, always comfy), but a gas grill/griddle permits cooking for more people with more reliability, convenience, and control, plus you can cook things that would never work on a grate. Yeah, you could go inside to cook those things but you want to be outside in the sun and fresh air drinking beer with your buddies while listening to the kids play and generally enjoying the humble majesty of owning a home with a yard. That's it.

It even existed in the 1990s. But even if you never got to experience it as kid, you can make the experience for yourself now.
