Sometimes in life, convenience is worth the extra nickel.
When it comes to food, where do you draw the line? Personally, I find beans to be a circumstance where prepared cans are worth it over having to cook dried raw ones. The effort one needs to put in is just too great for beans, especially when delicious canned ones are so cheap.
