Get a dutch oven and make sure the handle on the lid can go up to 450F at least.

Literally all you need is flour, water, salt, and yeast. I like using "bread flour" (aka "strong flour"), and I tend to do "no knead" recipes that use a long time and "stretch and folds" to create a good gluten network and thus lead to a good crumb.

just plan the night before. i started this loaf of rosemary garlic sourdough last night, baked it today. i've just started another loaf (sourdough with fig and walnut, a new recipe for me) that i'll bake tomorrow afternoon. it's really not hard, anon. you can always bake a loaf, slice it, and freeze it. then whenever you want bread you can thaw a slice.
