While obviously there are fatties in these Asian countries, it is not like half the population is considered obese.

In Japan at least, there is a huge pressure towards nutritional value. Yes, rice is everywhere, but the side dishes always try to balance everything else. Always lots of fish, chicken, and vegetables.

I now hate McDonald’s. These
Incessant posts, the tired descriptions of grandeur of this most plain bread, plain onions, plain pickles, and plain congealed meat paste in sugar based syrup. Has corporate advertising really debased themselves to thinly veiled tik tok challenges and sponsoring the latest meme entertainer? I saw another post describing the fact that white people do not frequent these fast food restaurants any more (or have significantly deceased), and seeing the advertising quality decline over the last two years reinforces that very idea. How do you come to terms that you have to dumb down ads, products, quality and service to the very people you pretend to support and extole? Tell me Mr. Advertising Guru, do you believe the people you are selling to actually are not capable of higher reason and foresight, that you need to come down to their level? How do you, in the same breath say that these people are just as “equal” as the rest of humanity, when these methods are the only effective use to garner what little money the government lets them earn?

A colleague of mine told me that even if he cooked, it would cost practically the same as if he bought something similar in a restaurant.

I wonder what bullshit justifications have you guys heard.

The BR is most likely only in Bahia. Never heard of anyone eating acaraje when drunk.

There are a lot of people around the world with way more struggles that this fatass and they aren't shoving food up their throats.

>theres nothing they can do
Nah, it is his option to live this crappy lifestyle. He chose to continue to eat excessively. If the problem is mental, the first reply (see a shrink) is the answer. He just chose not to. He has time and money. He can take another path. He prefers to have a heart attack instead.
