At home I keep a 12-pack of Faygo root beer on hand, mostly for my nephew but I’ll have one every so often and on occasion, I’ll have the local brew pub's house root beer, which is the best I’ve had.

Kuhnhenn - Warren Michigan, on Chicago (13-1/2 Mile) just east of Mound (go for the beer obviously, but they also make mini pizzas and frequently have food trucks on the weekends)

Was at Kuhnhenns brewery in Warren MI this past Tuesday afternoon and there was a food truck there, the speciality being smoked meat "KFC bowls" type dishes, with smoked pork, corn bread, cherry cole slaw, cheese and some other stuff.

Can't remember the name (it was a blue truck) but it was quite good, though at $8.00 a bowl, too expensive.

1. Go to your local brew pub, which usually have sample "platters" with several small glasses
of different beers and see which one you like the best.

2. IMPORTANT PART: You'll be getting drunk, so write down which ones you liked and which
sucked, so that next time you're there (or shopping for beer) you'll remember what kinda beers
appeal to your taste.

3. Come back to /ck/ armed with this knowledge and behave like a pretentious beer snob, telling
others that they're pleb faggets for drinking [ X kinda beer ] instead of [ Y kinda beer ].
