Oh, also. If you get SNAP and they have rentable bikes/scooters in your city, you can email them a copy of your card and they will usually give you a discount. Most of the purveyors of the e-bikes and electric scooters you can rent in many cities now have low-income programs with things like free minutes of ride time a day and/or discounter per hour pricing or reduced/waived unlock fees.

I pay less than half the normal price to rent electric bikes and get 60 free minutes a day.
