So how do I use this stuff for everyday cooking?

the real deal gochujang comes in these heavy little plastic blocks like bricks, and your best bet would be hitting up a korean grocery store like h-mart and checking the sauce aisle. it's shelf stable until opened then u gotta keep it in the fridge but it basically lasts forever
seems like lots of the "gochujang sauce" i've found from a quick google search also comes with a ton of other seasonings and additives, whereas actual gochujang itself is just simpled fermented chili. i suppose it wouldn't hurt as a condiment but you'd definitely want the real deal for cooking, especially since real gochujang has a thick pasty texture rather than a saucy one
