Throw the pieces in a huge pot with water and melt it all together on the stove. Then take the liquid and run it through a large coffee filter to get out the dirt from the raw salt chunk. Put the liquid back into a clean pot and heat it up again until the water evaporates and you're left with clean salt.

Except Japanese "blends" are mostly just scotch since they managed to fuck up their supply. And in the end, their single malts at best taste like a pretty decent scotch.

I broiled them for a bit with the glaze on, guess not for long enough. You’re right, they should have been crispier on the outside. Ah well, I’d use what mistakes I made here to experiment more with a better-tasting pumpkin and maybe tweak the glaze recipe.

All-in-all I suppose this was a learning experience and I thank you all for joining me in my blogging adventure.
