How I make perfect rice:
1/2 cup rice to 3/4 cup water (OR) 1 cup rice to 1 1/2 cups water
Add in butter, spicy dried pepper flakes and rosemary
Bring to a gentle boil, (5-6) stir it well with a fork, cover with lid and turn it down to a simmer (4)
After ~12-15 mins, depending on moisture and steam left, take it off
Fluff the rice up real good with a fork, scrape the bottom a bit
Put a towel on top and the lid back on, (dish towel), wait 5-10 minutes
Wa la perfect rice, add whatever you want or just eat as is.
The butter and spices boils down into it and then you're free to use whatever salty flavors you want
