hey al/ck/oholics. i'd appreciate some advice.
my girlfriend told me the other night that she thinks i become a monster "when i drink" (she doesnt know that i always drink, so i assume she means when i drink openly in front of her.) she told me i have to stop drinking, but i obviously cant do that.
i was sober for 2years but last year i stopped taking my antabus and started drinking again. i really dont want her to break up with me because she's legitimately the only friend i have. i dont want her to be worried about me. i thought about just covertly drinking, but i realised she will smell the booze on my breath. i'm not sure what to do because i really dont want to give up drinking.
