In my youth I despised chili in all aspects: smell, taste, consistency but recently I have given it a second chance and come to the conclusion that I absolutely love it. I love the ingredients (beans or no, I don't care), I enjoy slaving over it all day and I love the fact that it is a readily-available meal for days to come (I hate leftovers).

Make me wait to longer /ck/, I need your absolute best chili recipes. Google is worthless; I want what you have made and can conclude is absolutely God-tier. I like it spicy.

It's based off this recipe(pic related).

No green beans, no cayenne, no bell pepper. Used 1 large can of tomato sauce, 1 small can of paste+the same can with water, 1 can of diced tomatos&green chilis, 1 big can of red kidney beans, 1 small can of pinto beans and 1 half of a tub of con queso sour cream dip.
You don't really taste any spice(heat), but it leaves your tongue feeling warm after a bite.

I made this chili for a potluck last month, everyone loved it.

I have this, never made it, looks ok though.

Anyone have a good recipe for chili that you use? Specifically hot. There are obviously tons of recipes out there but no one can seem to settle the beans/no beans debate.

OP what you need to do is check what pans/ pots you have in your home. Personally I have a steel stock pot, couple frying pans, a nice cast iron skillet, some other random shit I never use and a crock pot. Chili is delicious and easy. Pasta with a good meat sauce is easy too. A lot of pork/chicken can be breaded then pan seared or baked of fried.

Honestly start simple. Get yourself a good spice rack and some non perishable canned goods. Cook some sort of meat up then make a side dish and some veggies. Those pasta/rice side dishes are not bad in a pinch and for the start if your cooking career they save a lot of time and make everything easier. Get a little note pad and write down any recipe you like, even things you have at restaurants then google them later.
