Picked one of these up over the weekend. My gf and I were doing the Mall and she convinced me to get it (plus it was on sale).

Well let me tell you, I was totally surprised when I started using it. The "cracking" action releases the true saltiness of the salt and you can really taste the difference. I think it's at a molecular level or something -my gf is a chem major but her explanations are sooooo boring - but I don't really care.

I can truly appreciate salt!
