I have no issue with hearing about how a city got loaded with a distinct mexican areas sense of food but to call a place like nyc a mecca in the us for mexican food is far beyond preposterous

Imagining such claims coming from a city in china, eastern europe or even india ok fine but to claim a mecca for mexican food is nyc a place that is devoid of hot deserts, rich tropical jungles, let alone any actual mexican territory before anglos showed is something to not be taken serious

The food in mexico taste better than anything here on the other side of the border
