It's REALLY good in sangria form.
We used to have a recipe for "Purple Funk" at the Donations ONLY bar in the woods at festivals.
Here it is---Please keep it secret!!
>1 empty jug Gallo red
>1 Full jug Gallo red
>split wine between--add GINGER ALE(two liter spilts well,) then top off with grape juice.
>serve over ice

found a MASSIVE clump of "Hen-of-the-Woods" at a festival once, pan fried the whole thing with garlic and about a pound of good local butter.
Never even got to taste it, it went so fast.
