'Murican here. Of all the types of rice I've bought, this is the only one I bother washing, simply because it's a step in the recipes I once consulted for making sushi and onigiri. While the package itself doesn't say you need to rinse it, it does advise soaking the rice for like an hour or two in water to make it more tender before cooking. Rinsing never seemed to make it lose its stickiness, so I'm unsure if leaving it unrinsed would make it difficult to work with.

Are you guys familiar with this brand and do you think it needs rinsing? Or can I save myself a little time and effort by skipping that step?
