Frozen market pizza have this distinct taste that isn't really found in restaurants and that's why it's so good.

In Poland we have zapiekanka that is kind of similar, always reminded me of frozen pizza, the cheapest zapiekanka sometimes tastes almost the same. It's a crunchy baguette with champignon (mushroom) spread and cheese plus whatever else you want.

which town, my fellow anonim? zapiekanki are kinda underrated nowadays compared to kebab places, maybe because so many places have shit quality or even serve premade frozen zapiekanki
there is a great place near me though, a bit on the expensive side but worth it, they always use fresh mushrooms and it's all quite delicious

the zapiekanka is probably the only national sandwich (grilled cheese over sautéed mushrooms, sometimes other ingredients as well. always pretty long, always topped with ketchup or mustard. used to be the primary streetfood around in communist times, slightly less popular now)
