My parents never do this for me, and I'm thankful. Leftovers on Thanksgiving and Christmas, and that's about it. We rarely ate meals together as a family.

The reason I like it is because it taught me to eat when I was hungry, not as some social norm, scheduled ritual every few hours, or feeling like I was rejecting their love. So, I didn't turn into a fatty.

There are a lot of things my parents fucked up, but this isn't one of them.
