Alright since you guys were talking about sardines so much I finally tried them and I wasn't that impressed. Can someone tell me if I messed up somewhere? I used two tins of pic related.

>boil pasta
>finely chop and fry 2 shallots and 2 cloves of garlic in the oil from the tins
>add fish towards the end
>add pasta and some pasta water
>salt and pepper

It was alright, but nothing amazing. Didn't really taste of much.
