mine is not too bad. looks kinda bare 'cause ws in the hospital a week and also a 200 amp circutbreaker tripped resulting in a masive throw out of food. Andfollowed ck's advice, when in doubut, throw it out. lost 4 packs ground beef, two packs chicken thighs, one pacl or lbs lamb shoulder chops, 1 lbs red perch fillet, i lbb crab flavored surami 3 lbs frozen yellow squash, abag of okra and a bag ofbrocolie. Fridge was warse or better, dependingon view., halh gal milk, halh cal butermilk, some "lunch meats" certaincondements and salad dressings that should have been trashed long ago, wilted lettuce, celery, half a cane og noyw dehydraded pinapple and some very black canned olives rest of the stuff, mostly condements were vinigar based, so those were ok.Had a few bottled and canned beers but a friendly neighbor relived me of those, along with half a bottle of cheap red wine i use fed for cooking and an almost full bottle of cheap bourbon. Fortunately was able to salvage a most of a quart of homemade peach brandy. t'was nice.Somew salted pork belly and an evil hickory farms summer sasauge dated 2010, and a litttle bowl of I,m not sure what, but mutating Not so bad, you got to re stock Not so bad, the umpteen jars of pickle or olives with one lonely thing in it or that pot filled with mummified something from a month ago. You get to start anew! .Well except that mutating bowl of...that stuff It's sentient. Run, save yourself ck.My fridge is pretty bare but it needed cleaning anyways thanks ck.

meatloaf,(ketchup not gravy) mashed taters and green peas with margarine, (what's it gonna do? kill me?), or sweet corn. garlic toast. banna pudding. Be nice if a kind CO could slip me a tall Bud or Coors, but unlikely, so un sweet iced tea or plain soda w/lemon. Don't kid yourself, some guys in prison either learn or know how to cook. In college there was an ex con that opened a very small and simple place in an old building, almost a shack. Your choice of 2 meats that day, whatever he cooked or got a deal on. Simple stuff like Salisbury steak, fried pork chop, baked chicken leg quarter, meatloaf, stuffed bell pepper, baked spaghetti. The real draw was. as much vegetables as you wanted (greens, green beans, boiled potatoes, turnips, slaw, boiled cabbage, stew tomatoes and okra), corn bread or a biscuit. For dessert - a square of chocolate iced yellow or lemon iced ginger sheet cake. unlimited iced tea and coffee.Milk or canned sodas for an up charge. $5.95. Jam packed, 11 am -7 pm six days a week. Had to move twice to a larger place. Give 'em what they want. Students, weary of burgers, pizza, dogs, and "meal plan" canned junk, would eagerly pay for home cooked fresh vegetables, which he bought from local farmers and markets for next to nothing if 2-3 days old. He even had staff and faculty eating there. Retired < 60, sold the "goodwill" for significant bucks to some a- hole who "innovated" it right into the dirt..KISS. keep it simple, stupid.

eggs are a loss leader. so cheap and so good, yet I don't eat more than 3 per day, or5 per week. salt and fat get real I'm 'merican and i like cooking at home or dining oot, and that includes places like golden coral, shoneys. rotisserie chicken, subway bmt ( i gave blood so was qualified, along with 8 beers and slice of chesse cake) but , not being rude or mean - a lot of salt and fat. it tatse good to most people.I like soft scrambled. over easy. (dip fries on the youlks) soft boiled on toast(hercule peroit) hueovos ranherous. deviled eggs, egg salad pr piclked eggs, open a window fixen to get somgy and you thoght Smauogh was bad fritatas. ya'll are fixin to get sick. buscuit and sasuage gravy, two easy over,, side of bacon, fri, grape jelly, stirred togeter 0445 standard breakfast at 0630 it was nice. that guytought me how to help others and loaned me1k in a jam. bot really. really (kyle voice) soft scrmbled, with a litle milk, salt and black pepper double youlkers are nice. like sam clemons might say. part of this is true. that breakfast- two over buscit and gravy,side of bacon,jelly coffe, black. a good guy the learning curve can be sharp thanks ch but secretly egg salad or deviled eggs forgive me ck. eggs simple can be tough to do

I love taters. any kind, any where. mashed, boiled, baked or (seldom) fried. even tater tots. (you asked) a big handfull in a lightly oiled bowl and two eggs or with out the eggs. ketchup or castsup. jezze, you asked potato soup, latke.. don't bend over it the tater patch momma. you know them things have eyes .I fast one of seven(no ones business but my own) but i have dreams of potaoes even potato salad
