>hold them sort of like a pencil, with only the index finger at the top, no finger in the middle, and all the rest of the fingers including middle finger below both chopsticks
>use them like this for like 15 years
>go to China
>everyone tells me I'm using chopsticks wrong and that you have to put your middle finger in the middle of the two
>ignore them
>years later, develop pain in little finger when using chopsticks
