>many years later take in rescue bunnies who needed home quick

>they outbreed their hut
>give them garden
>garden becomes post-patch Eden
>come home one day and find entire litter and dad dead
>mum barely alive
>covered in blood, wide eyed, panting, completely silent
>have to break her neck
>emotionally devastated
>have to bin pet bunnies cos way to distraught to bury, which makes it worse
>3 days later find baby hiding behind bins
>build him a bigger run, very protected
>he lived a further two years alone just sitting in a corner before he just randomly died, couldn't interact with him
>cats would stalk the run until I chased them off
>garden is miserable place now
>try gardening and coaxing birds with feed
>gets cat shit around my plants instead
