>put chicken in ziplock bag under water in sink to thaw
>come back 25 minutes later, bag is full of water
>chicken marinated in sink water for 25 minutes
Is it still safe to eat? I'm unironically disgusted but I'm thinking cooking it in the oven should surely kill of any bacteria that might've come about?
