How do I make potato wedges so they have some crunch to it? Whenever I make them in my oven they turn out kinda flabby, not the way I like them.

Has anyone here ever realized that their favorite food growing up was the only one your mother knew how to properly season? My mom's potato wedges were my favorite fry, and only recently have I noticed it was because it was the only thing she really seasoned before putting in the oven, basil, olive oil and salt.

fish and potato wedges are always great

chips = potato wedges
crisps = in a bag of Lay's
fries = what you get at fast food restaurants
