I can't handle all of this sensory overload so early in the morning

My friend always has to have some kind of sauce to dip her food in. I think it's because she's been a smoker for 15 years and it's affected her taste buds. I've watched her put ranch dressing and hot sauce on lasagna.

pretty sure that's how all our mom's and grandmother's ordered our steaks when we were kids. And then when you got older and wanted to try it a little more pink, they'd be all like "Are you suuuure? That's blood, you know. You don't want to eat blood, that's gross" and make you second guess your life choices and attempt at independence.

When I was a kid, I had a friend that had a Mexican father. He used to suck on chicken fat at the dinner table.

I understand it's not safe to walk in their neighborhood at night, but some of these kids are like 17 and I feel like they're casing the neighborhood under the guise of trick of treating, peeking into my living room past me to see what I have to steal. They make out anyways because that's when I start handing out handfuls of candy to end the night quickly.
