I've always been baffled by people who are picky about that kind of thing. I would eat literally any kind of meat, provided it was slaughtered humanely and processed in a sanitary way. Yes, even stuff like cat. A hog is far, FAR smarter than a dog and yet the same people who freak out about eating horse or turtle or whatever probably have a bunch of pork loin in their fridge. And you can never get them to understand the irony.
