My boyfriend asked me to pick out some steaks for him since he doesn't know what to look for (cuts, marbling, etc) despite working as a grocery store butcher in high school.

I picked out a couple nice ribeyes, since they're a nice tender cut and he isn't the best at cooking steak. (Plus they looked especially good that week + were on for a pretty decent price) He wanted to cook them on his own so I left him alone.

Anyways, he cooked them by puting water and BBQ sauce in a pan and steaming them until they were well done. According to him, they were the best steaks he's ever made and he'd definitely do them that way again.
