I'm so happy my mother can cook and taught me to cook fairly young. Of all my friends in their 20's, I'm the only one that consistently cooks dinners.

Her specialty is Italian-American foods. Chicken Parmesan, homemade all-day red sauce, chicken piccata, meatballs, ect. She's also pretty good at your average american foods, making your steaks, seafoods, meatloves and stuffed vegetables with much more flavor and care than your average middle class white mom.

She's disabled now and can't really cook much anymore. She tries, but it takes her ~2 hours to make a simple dinner and is in pain for days afterwards.

I was gonna make her over-easy eggs and coffee, but she just wanted beer and cigarettes.
