For me, it’s bacon and bewf jerky. It’s salty, it’s commercially processed, and it’s ultra caloric. I seriously don’t know why americans stuff that hormone filled preservative fat into them. I prefer well cooked pork shoulder or tendorloin, or duck breast in terms of protein quality.

Raw meat tastes fantastic though, the problem is just that most serve it too cold. Raw meat should ideally be body temperature (as if from a recently killed animal) though room temperature is an alright compromise.

I am not memeing. Cooking food is ridiculous. It is traditionally only used for very old or shit tier low quality meat, the kind you feed to women. And even then, certain cultures preferred dried or fermented meats as a method of preservation.

Cooking the meats off a freshly killed animal is just plain waste.
