There is a tremendous amount of fraud in the food industry. Tons of fish you buy isn't actually the fish you think you're buying, the organic standards are constantly being broken while farmers and food producers aren't being inspected because they know about inspections well in advance, there's cellulose in a ton of grated Parmesan, fake saffron, it's in everything. It's much more prevalent than you think.
