I know, fucking sad isn't it?
Right before the Covid nonsense started, Aldis had a policy to make as much of their food Non-GMO, and as non-pozzed as possible. I don't know if that changed because of the supply lines getting fucked, or if they just had to allow this because their suppliers can no longer get unpoozed ingredients for a decent price.
This entire first Aisle at my main one is the produce, snacks and bread aisle. As a staunch label reader, I used to be able to buy ~80% of that aisle--now, including produce, I will only buy ~20% of the shit there.
It's not just Aldi, fucking Scumlords Kroger has been fucking adding wood flour, soy flour and other garbage to their breads,(long enough that even their bakery labels automatically print out the "Contains Bio-Engineered Ingredients"), and recently, sucralose to a lot of their breads.
I've been heavily advocating anons here to make their own breads for the last year because of it.
