Moved to Canada 2 years ago (lived in burgerland before that btw) and literally everywhere sells poutine. Restaurants, pubs, McDucks, KFC etc. So why arent Leafs as obese as Burgers?

Bonus question: is gravy or jus the superior dipping sauce?

Why are americans weirded out by the idea of poutine? You have cheese fries so its not the cheese part, is it the gravy? Gravy and fries is so fucking good. When I'm having fries at home and obviously don't have a batch of cheese curds lying around I'll just make brown gravy for the fries.
