another New England/CT staple i think is underrated is greek style. hated by most pizza snobs but i like it cuz it reminds me of a better version of Pizza Hut's pan pizzas (from the days they were good in the 80s and 90s, not todays shit pizza hut) so it kinda hits that nostolgic spot for me in that way.

I know not everyone loves it but because I grew up with it I really love the New England Greek style pizza when it’s made right. That airy sponget crust is so good. It’s like a better version of the Pizza Hut pan pizza I used to love as a kid. Speaking of which, why does CT suddenly have no more pizza huts? Yeah yeah it’s shitty chain pizza but of all the chains they were the only ones I kinda like sometimes, probably for nostalgic reasons but sometimes that pan pizza just hit the spot

greek style and pan pizza are kinda the same thing
