I hit 3 months sober tomorrow, and coming back to these threads I still can't decide if I envy or pity you guys. Obviously I'm in a way better place now, got back in shape, doing better at work, etc. But man, I miss that feeling of just accepting you have an alcohol problem, and getting cozy for the night with a full bottle and some movies, video games, and 4chan shitposting. I don't want to go back to drinking, but I also really do

>go over to grandpa's house for dinner
>he say's he's got the main course, just bring salads/sides
>get there, huge prime rib slow cooking in oven

>he's using nice meat thermometer, figure he knows what he's doing at least somewhat
>getting close to eat, ask him what internal temp he's cooking it to
