>I'm getting out of highschool soon and come from a family where my father didn't go to college because he was offered a dead end job and my mother couldn't afford it
>So I get the typical go to college for culinary arts or work at McDonald's for the rest of your life ultimatum
>I've been working in restaurants since I was 15 under the table as a dishwasher and afterwards I started making cakes and similar body positivity food for fat chicks at a coffee shop/bakery
>And I've been reading a lot of chefs don't have a culinary arts degree and do just fine but I'm not entirely sure that if I don't get a degree I'm going to get my boy holes pounded while I sleep on a park bench when I'm homeless cuz some college kid that can't tell a dog form a chicken when cooking that went to college on his rich parents money will take job opportunities from me
I need advice should I get a degree in culinary arts or is it not worth it help me anons your my only hope
