Sure, it looks pretty, but for what purpose?
You don't want to eat it because it's really well made, and you also don't just want it to sit around on a shelf being a display piece becuause it'll just go mouldy.
It's one of those applications of art that looks good for video, but would never work in practise.

For what purpose? Do you want soggy mushrooms? Cook it low and slow and you can get as much water to evaporate as possible, thus intensifying the flavor and giving a better, meatier texture.

I typically fry mine in butter and salt on low-to-medium heat for 20-30 minutes. They brown just fine during the last 10 minutes when most of the water has evaporated.
