McDonald's points suck. I use the app every time I go to McDonald's, and the most useful feature is that you can activate a deal to get 20% off your order every day. You also earn points you can redeem for food items, but it's a very limited selection of items you can redeem, large fries being probably the most helpful. But you can't get an item with points and use the 20% off deal in the same purchase. When I order McDonalds, I always order enough food that I save more money just using the 20% off, and I have tons of points sitting around unused. I think the only way I'll get use out of these is it I start driving by and getting a single ice cream cone some nights.
