The restaurant is tired of hearing this. No one is going to sell you the dish for the price of the fucking ingredients after paying for labor, resources, government fees, insurance, and even the goddamned building. You aren't just paying for the meal, you're paying someone to make it for you and eat somewhere else. That's why we used to try to run a 28% food cost, lower if possible.

You don't know if some asshole at the grocer left that shit out, or if the cooler went down for a bit, or it took them a while to stock the shelves, so the bacteria could have had extra time to start multiplying. Their growth is exponential. Those expiration dates are there for a fucking reason, to give leeway in case something went wrong. If you ignore them and something did go wrong, it's your own fault.

Reheated pizza is the superior when done properly.

Place your slices in a saute pan with a little water around, not enough to make the crust wet or soggy. Cover and heat over medium heat. Your crust will be crispy and the cheese will be melted but not runny, and the sauce will be soaked into the crust. Shit is fucking magic.
