idk about anyone else but i never trust graphs like these. with the wide variance in economic activities and the wild differences in tax bases and codes relating to those activities, a simple "LOL THIS STATE SUBSIDIZED" doesn't really say much useful.

Especially when the differences in percentage points are no wider than 10%, in a cunt with a GDP of gorillions, and somehow the difference between a state with low taxes mostly doing primary industry versus a state with high taxes but tons of tax-dodging high value software companies is only 5%
