Name a food that deserves the same reputation as hawaiian pizza

(Toppings, flavors, styles, brands, food chains and restaurants are included)

My local pizza joint doesn't serve Hawaiian pizza nor has pineapples. So I was thinking of buying my favorite pizza and just slap some pineapple on top. What is the best way to caramelize the pineapple? sear them in a skillet then slap on top? or broiling them on top of the pizza in the oven?

What would you do if you found out that one of your best friends like pineapple on pizza?

so, approving/hating pineapple on pizza has become sort of a meme-subject. what's interesting to me is that i've realized there are two distinct groups that hate the pineapple, for very different reasons.

1. people who are traditionalists about pizza, usually east-coasters. there's nothing too wrong with this.

2. people whose palate just can't fucking comprehend contrasting flavors. these are the people who order their $12 five guys burger with no topping but ketchup and often can't handle anything spicy or pickled. usually from the midwest. everything is wrong with this.

Why is the best type of pizza considered so heretical among pizza purists?

Personally I like pineapple but if you put it anywhere near a pizza you deserve a reserved spot in hell with all the child molesters
