Hi /ck/!
I'm going to a steakhouse tomorrow, and I'm pretty new as to how my steak should be cooked.
Help me out /ck/, how do you prefer your steak?

I don't have time to cook most days, so is it ok if I fry some steaks and freeze them? Or will the taste be significantly impaired? I want to do this with grilled chicken too

Took me a total of five seconds to find an almost food porn-tier cut of steak on Google images. Stop posting these shitty stock images on an imageboard.

How is your steak done, /ck/?

It's a debate that seems so subjective, depending on where in the world you are. For me:

>Medium Rare
>Seasoned with salt and pepper
>Preferably NYS or cowboy style
>thatsit.jpg

Everywhere I go, I see perfectly cut cow bastardized too much with this Montreal steak spice, malt vinegar and rosemary ash, medium well, etc.

To me, the steak should be enjoyed simply, for the amazing natural taste it has. Is it the end of the world if it's seasoned and cooked beyond rare? No, but I don't enjoy it as much.

Pic related.
