In my hometown, we had an absolutely wonderful BBQ and pizza place right nearby the high school. The guy who owned it and his wife put so much work into making delicious BBQ, super good and unique pizzas, and creating a comfy blues vibe with a gorgeous interior, a nice patio, and consistent live music.
They lasted probably 15 or so years, eventually the high school changed their policies so that all the kids had lunch at the same time, the owner got sick of dealing with the lunch rush every day for a single hour, he wasn't even capable of serving everyone, and he decided to shut down and go start a farm to grow and make his own pizza dough out in the country.
I wish them the absolute best of luck and will always remember how much their food impacted me, it was the first place I really got to liking BBQ and the first place I went to hear live music while I ate. But it's fucking bullshit that that school can just decide they're going to fuck over all the local businesses for god knows what reason.
