For the love of god if someone offers you their Voodood donut maple beer do not drink that shit.

It's a smoked porter that ostensibly should have some bacon or maple flavor right?

Wrong. They use like 5 different roasted malts in that thing and they're so darkly roasted that it tastes like you're literally drinking charred liquid wood...with a light maple aftertaste.

I thought maybe that the beer needed to be aged or something as porters and stouts respond really well to it so I had a 2nd bottle stashed in the back of my fridge that I pretty much forgot about for 2 years.

Tried it after two years and...nope still tastes like liquid smoke only now I can sort of taste the maple and the bacon more now instead of just an aftertaste.

Horrible horrible shite that only survives due to its pure novelty and pepto bismol pink bottle.
