redpill me on caffeine
how much of it is bad for you...

Caffeine is such a load of horse shit.
It's supposed to give you energy, but I drink it every day and have NEVER felt that. It doesn't matter if it's just one cup or a fucking energy drink or what, I still feel nothing.
I just drank a 2 liter bottle of Dr. Pepper Zero and I can barely stay awake.
The entire coffee industry is a lie.

I ground up 100g of specialty medium roast coffee and put it in a MrCoffee drip machine at work. I usually do chemex or do french press, but since I was at work and they have a cheap drip machine I thought it would be nice to do a big batch of good quality coffee for everyone, even if the method was subpar.

The coffee started smelling burnt halfway through the batch. That was a lot of wasted coffee. I dont even know what exactly went wrong. I just know half of the grounds were over extracted, and that I had to stir in the wet grounds in the basket to soak all of them. Even the shitty kirkland/folgers coffee they have laying around in the open smells not as burnt (though tasting considerably worse)

where can i purchase coffee beans that have never once touched plastic? non plastic packaging for the entire supply chain i mean. price is not an issue

Today I brewed a pot of coffee with 8 scoops of Cafe Bustelo. I drank the entire thing over the course of several hours. I have been on the toilet three times so far. Is this normal? I'm also very antsy/restless, am sweating, and feel anxious.
