it'd be great if customers could learn the "hack" called "using your fucking brain".

It's way too common that people just stare at the debit machine like it's egyptian hieroglyphics and after a pregnant pause of sixty seconds or more, they finally realize that "insert chip card into reader" means they should insert their card but since they were too slow it doesn't read properly and the screen says "please swipe card" which also befuddles them and they generally cannot orient the card correctly and swipe it the wrong way.

This whole thing happens at least once a day, I don't get it. I can't be encountering that many people who are using the debit card payment machine for the first time in their lives. What goes on in their heads?

No. If you work a minimum wage job, you don't get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to intelligence. I am absolutely going to assume you are too inept to understand the word plain when I tell you the word plain, and I will specify exactly what I want. If you were smart, you wouldn't be working as a cook.

In the past, I have ordered plain burgers only for them to come delivered to me with cheese or sauce on it. They don't know what the word plain means, so I have to break it down very simply for them. Sometimes I'll ask for a plain cup of green tea and they'll ask me if I mean "black". They literally have no concept of the word plain.

I don't even bother with the braindead food servants anymore if there is a computer checkout available.

How do you make sure the tea you purchase is free of illegal pesticides?
Obviously Lipton has had its issues with illegal pesticides in tea coming from big Chinese plantations.
Is there any oversight from foreign countries in the marketplace? For example, does USDA certified organic really know what's happening on the Chinese tea plantation? If so, how?

yeah. though I don't drink much these days. I am supposedly stopped. The drawbacks have started to outweigh the benefits. I wouldn't turn down a beer some stranger offered or whatever though.

Drinking in moderation would also work but before you know it I drink the whole bottle in one sitting and start watching childhood favourite movies. I used to be able to drink a bottle of wine without batting an eye either, but I let my tolerance slip. I'm not drinking every day, so it hits me harder, but I tend to drink the same amount I always did.

This happens to heroin addicts who try and quit too, but they just die.
