I’m a sip originalist and generally a prescriptivist in other matters, but I like to leave the question to the courts, as it were. I like to see sip boys and nonsippers sort it out in the sip threads. Also, as a policy matter, I recognize the value of inclusivity (honestly, I drink Bang now and then). Though I’d never call anything but an Ultra a “sip,” I prefer that it remain an open question for many sip threads to come.
