I have a few boxes of Japanese curry base, what do I do with it?

I just moved to a new city after escaping neetdom, and I'll be spending this thanksgiving by myself. I'm not a great cook (I know enough to not hurt myself or burn my house down), but I bought a pack of this at a nearby asian grocery store because I'm a weeaboo, and I was thinking of making a turkey curry with it this thursday. Is that retarded, or could I make it work? I've got a few pounds of turkey thighs I bought, some carrots and yukon golds. What would be the best way to deal with the turkey? Debone and cube and cook in the pot for the curry prep for fond, or roast them and save the drippings for it? Was planning on having it with white rice.

The easiest way is to buy curry roux like pic related.

I have yet to find a recipe for Japanese-style curry that tastes "authentic".
