Finally got my electric hario kettle. Less than 60€ and no shipping cost, thanks krauts. Not a temp controlled one, but I've got a thermometer for that when I need it. Made in chinkland, guessing hario has a factory in japan for the local market but uses chinese ones for international one. It's got some rough edges but is mostly solid. It's filled with stickers that are going to be annoying to remove.
Took 5 minutes to boil a max filled (0.8L) tank of cold water. I'm probably going to be loading it up with half that amount most of the time.
