Face it. You waste so much time and money cooking your own food for what? Something that tastes like actual burnt liquified shit? Meanwhile you could just go to McDonalds and get one of their many well priced, great tasting items.

But you have to be hipsters. You have to be "cool" and "unique". Well suit yourself. In the meantime I'm sitting here enjoying the feeling of satiation from eating a fresh double quarter pounder from McDonalds that took me zero minutes to make.

Why do I like McDonalds so much? Its such a last resort to all my friends and they prefer 20 other fast food places before McDonalds, but I never have a problem with it and I think the food (when well made) is pretty top tier fast food.

Why are Mcdonalds and other shitty chains so popular in the US?

I mean, you people really know what a burger is, I've been to certain restaurants in the US and had the best burgers of my life. Unforgettable. The REAL stuff. Fresh meat and ingredients, skillful "masters" proud of their secret recipies...

I understand why those chains are popular OUTSIDE of US, where burgers are not exactly specialties... but why in the States? It make no sense to me. You people should know better than anybody else what a good burger is.

For istance, I'm Italian.
When I go abroad I see stuff like Starbucks (claiming they make the authentic Italian espresso or cappuccino), those Domino's ("Italian" pizza) and so on... Those simply don't exist in my country, simply because nobody would ever even enter. Because we prefer the real stuff.

What's your opinion, /ck/?
